Weber Endolaser: Medical Low-level laser therapy (LLLT)

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) uses low-intensity laser light to modulate the body’s regenerative and regulatory processes.

Weber Laser Therapy is an advanced low-level laser therapy (LLLT) developed by Weber Medical in Germany.  At specific wavelengths, medical-grade laser light is used to stimulate cellular repair, reduce inflammation, improve tissue regeneration and has many other wonderful clinical benefits.

Each wavelength has unique benefits and years of research and use internationally has resulted in this therapy being a very promising integrative therapy for acute and chronic illnesses and cellular repair.

There are only a handful of clinics in the United States that offer Weber Laser for this advanced intravenous low level laser therapy. Located just outside of Austin, Texas in Marble Falls,  Roots Integrative Medicine is excited to offer this service to help patients find health and healing.

At the cellular level, specific wavelengths of light stimulate increased production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is a  key energy molecule that accelerates tissue repair. Each wavelength has unique benefits.

The Yellow Laser may offer benefits in the following areas:

  • Chronic bacterial and viral infections via antimicrobial photo-dynamic therapy
  • Lyme disease
  • Viral infections (zoster, EBV, herpes)
  • Advanced Multiple Sclerosis
  • Squamous cell carcinoma and metastases
  • Improves serotonin and vitamin D metabolism
  • Improves mood, anxiety, antidepressant and digestive effects

The red/infrared range leads to oxidation of the Cytochrome-C-Oxidase at complex IV, the terminal enzyme of the respiratory chain, the most important photon acceptor. This range activates ATP production leading to increased energy and improvement of cardiac measures and circulation. It is able to support neuronal functions in the CNS and improve immune defenses through its actions on NK, T-helper, and T-suppressor cells. The red laser is rejected from erythrocytes but absorbed by leukocytes.

When blue light is introduced into the bloodstream, it is readily absorbed by porphyrins and hemoglobin. It  improves microcirculation and perfusion of oxygen uptake by increasing nitric oxide (NO) production and it activates telomerase, inhibiting the degradation of telomeres which are responsible for longevity and predict life expectancy.

Additionally, laser light stimulates the production of stem cells and growth factors and boosts the production of nitric oxide (NO) and reactive oxygen species (ROS). Patients benefit in many ways, including improved blood circulation, faster wound healing, effective pain relief, and reduced inflammation.

Some of the possible clinical benefits of blue laser include:

  • Improves ATP Metabolism
  • Antibacterial
  • Harmonizes Hormones
  • Strong Anti-inflammatory Properties
  • Acute Pain Reduction
  • Antibacterial, Antiviral and Antiparasitic

When green laser light is introduced into the blood stream, it has readily absorbed by erythrocytes and therefore no green light shining through the vein is observed. Green light binds to hemoglobin and increases oxygen supple by detaching adhesive hemoglobin form the vessel walls. It stimulates sodium-potassium-ATPase of the erythrocyte membrane while stimulating the mitochondria (cytochrome-c-
reductase at complex III). Green light leads to steric conformation change of hemoglobin molecules with a 20% increases uptake of oxygen and increases ATP production by approximately 30%.

Some of the possible benefits of using green light include:

  • Strong anti-inflammatory effects
  • Effective in pain stemming from swelling and inflammation
  • Protects against edema
  • Used in ulcers and infectious tumors
  • Resolution of acute inflammation
  • Increases fibroblast proliferation with an improved effects on glucose metabolism

How is The Weber / Low Level Laser Therapy Administered?

LLLT can be delivered intravenously, interstitially, intra-articularly, or topically.

What Conditions Might The Weber Laser be Beneficial For?

It has been used as an alternative and integrative support for a wide variety of conditions including chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, Lyme disease, long COVID, autoimmune conditions, arthritis, chronic pain, neuropathy, toxin-related illness, and as support in cancer therapy. We would love to discuss in more details if LLLT may offer benefits to your specific concern.

What Are The Side Effects?

LLLT is backed by scientific research and has a strong safety profile with virtually no side-effects. We would be more than happy to review how the Weber Laser and LLLT works, the risks and benefits, and how it may support you on your health journey!
